This is an easy way to get beach waves in your hair ! No heat and you can do it at night sleep on it and it's ready in the morning ! Here's how you do it ! Here is a link on how to twist braid if you don't know how , it's basically French braiding but with only two strands. http://youtu.be/2RpAv3irv1c
Wash your hair and allow it to almost fully dry. Apply a styling mouse trough it. Then twist braid your hair around your head . If you have short hair like mine you may have to make two twist braids on on each side of your head. Secure the braid(s) with bobby pins .Spray on a little hair spray then go to bed!

Mother's Day is just around the corner ! So I put together a list of gift ideas to fit all price ranges from $15 up. Flowers, gift cards and homemade gifts work perfect as well. These are just some ideas if your stumped on what to buy that special mother in your life. No need to buys expensive hand and feet scrubs ! I found ( thanks to Pinterest ) a great, inexpensive, and easy to make scrub. You probably have all these items in your kitchen already. Find a container, mason jar, or anything with a lid and try out this scrub recipe for your next at home manicure/ pedicure! Fill your container 3/4 the way full with sugar. Fill the rest of the way with Dawn Olay Hand Renewal dish soap. Then add 1/2 to whole teaspoon of an oil of your choice ( you can use essential oils, aloe, peppermint oil or plain kitchen oils work fine too!) Mix together, put the lid on and your done ! Too much of something can be a bad thing! Here's some ways to wear and accessorize with (one of my favorite patterns) Stripes! Splurging and buying that expensive designer bag or pair of shoes can be great! But what if a pair of $80 jeans or a $400 bag just isn't in the budget? You want a high style look WITHOUT the high style price tag! I took a few of my favorite designers and products and found low price similar alternatives. You can spend much less and still have something nice and fashionable! Below are some of the best splurges and steals I could come up with. From Ray Ban to Kate Spade there's money to be saved ! I made pasta for my family one night and went to the freezer to get out some Texas toast to find I forgot to pick some up at the store ! So I decided to improvise. I used plain old slices of bread, butter and Ms.Dash garlic herb seasoning. Take the slices of bread, butter each sided generously and sprinkle seasoning on each side. Place slices on a foil lined baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 flipping them about half way. My family that it was yummy and it saved me a trip to the store! Now that short sleeve weather is in full swing I thought it would be fun to share ways to spruce up a typical plain t shirt ! It's no secret Target is my favorite store. So I had to put together some mixable, adorable and cute spring looks from their clothes! If you look most all the ideas below can be mixed and matched to create multiple different looks! All items below can be found at target.com and most in the store. |
